The Place
Il Gattopardo Art Residence is an italian villa situated in the hills of Cairo Montenotte, a small town between the Langhe and the Ligurian Riviera.
The building dates back to 1787 and was fully restored in 2022. It now comprises 10 bedrooms, 2 kitchens as well as individual studios and larger communal areas, and a swimming pool.
It sits on a 20-hectare estate with rolling hills, fields and woods. Il Gattopardo offers up to a group of artists a venue where they can work individually and/or collectively surrounded by a quiet and peaceful natural environment, providing tranquility and inspiration, although the nearby town of Cairo Montenotte is only 3 kilometers away.
